Question: How do videos get featured?

We review highly-rated and recent videos for consideration in the Videos section of the home page In addition, we scan the site for videos of interest

Question: Can I download videos to watch later?

Muscleplanet.tv video player is designed to be used within your browser as an Internet experience. Unlike Youtube, you can download our videos to your computer. The videos will be saved as FLV file format videos. You can save them and play them by downloading the following FLV Player: http://www.jeroenwijering.com/upload/jw_flv_player.zip.

Question: How long will my video take to upload?

Depending on your connection speed and the size of the video, it can take anywhere from a few minutes to several hours to upload a video. Generally, if you have a high-speed Internet connection you can expect the upload to take somewhere between 1-5 minutes for every 1MB. However, the experience is different for every user because of the variation in connection speeds.

Question: Do I have to sign up to upload videos?

Yes. Since videos are attached to your profile, you must sign up as a member to upload videos. Becoming a member also allows you to save videos, create Playlists, and leave comments, among many other features.

Question: What video file formats can I upload?

Muscleplanet.tv accepts video files in the following formats: .WMV, .AVI, .MOV, .MPG, MPEG, WAV, and FLV file formats. SWF format is not acceptable

Question: What are tags?

Tags are keywords that describe videos. For example, a surfing video might be tagged with surfing, water and waves. Users who enjoy watching surfing videos can then search for any of those terms and that video will show up in their search results. Tags help you label videos you upload so that other people can find them more easily.

Question: I can not find a channel that relates to my video, what do i do and where do i upload my video.

If you do not find a channel your looking for, please request it and we will add it within couple of hours.

Question: Can I change my username?

Currently, you cannot change your user name. There is simply too much information tied to each account. You may, however, sign up for a new account with the username that you desire.

Question: Javascript / Flash Player errors.

If you get a javasript or flash player an error message, it means that you either have JavaScript turned off in your browser, or you need the latest version of the Flash player.
